BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Piper Otto (So., Brooklyn Park) recorded a career-high 13 strikeouts in a MIAC-opening 4-1 victory for Gustavus at Augsburg on April 2. Otto pitched the complete seven innings, allowing one run on just three hits. Otto posted seven consecutive strikeouts from the first inning through the third. Otto has held opponents to three hits or fewer in six appearances this season. For her performance, Otto has been named MIAC Softball Pitcher of the Week.
