BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Simona Potockova (Sr., Nova’ Dubnica, Slovakia) won all four of her matches on Sunday as the Gusties defeated regional opponents UW-Eau Claire and Luther. Potockova started the day with an 8-3 doubles victory over the Blugolds’ top doubles team, ranked No. 13 in the country. Potockova then won at No. 1 singles in straight sets. She continued to impress against Luther, winning 8-6 at No. 1 doubles and 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles. For her performance, Potockova has been named MIAC Women’s Tennis Athlete of the Week.
