BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Nick Aney (Sr., Rochester) helped the Gusties to an 8-1 victory over Luther on Saturday with points at No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles. Aney won his singles match with scores of 7-6, 6-3 and teamed with partner Alex Budde for an 8-3 victory at top doubles against the region’s No. 4-ranked tandem. For his performance, Aney has been named MIAC Men’s Tennis Athlete of the Week.
