SAINT PETER, Minn. – The National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) announced the qualifiers for its national meet and two Gustavus student-athletes have been selected. Brooke Merila and Sophia Redding will compete at the NCGA National Championships, held on March 26 at Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York.
Merila has been selected as a competitor in the all-around, while Redding will compete on the bars. Merila posted a season-high in the all-around at the WIAC/NCGA West Regional with a score of 36.750. Redding has a season-high score of 9.70 on the bars, which she recorded on Jan. 22 at UW-Whitewater.
