BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Indraneel Raut (Sr., Oshkosh, Wis.) starred in singles play for the Gusties at the 2022 ITA Indoor National Championships over the weekend. Raut was lights out at No. 1 singles against Brandeis, fighting off a match point and using deep forehands for a 6-2, 6-7 (1-0), 11-10 win in a three-set thriller on Feb. 26. He was also locked in a 6-4, 3-6 duel at the top singles spot in Gustavus’s 5-0 loss to defending national champion Emory before the competition was called on Feb. 27. For his performance, Raut has been named MIAC Men’s Tennis Athlete of the Week.
