Wasko Named MIAC Men’s Golfer of the Week

Wyatt Wasko (Jr., Lake Elmo) won the season-opening Augsburg Fall Invite by shooting a 70-73-143 at Majestic Oaks over the weekend. Wasko carded a hole-in-one on the eighth hole of the second round, marking the first hole-in-one during tournament play in Gustavus men's golf program history.

Abegglen Named MIAC Special Teams Athlete of the Week

Andrew Abegglen (Jr., Mound) set a Gustavus program record with 11 extra points made in Saturday's 80-58 win at Buena Vista. He went a perfect 11-for-11 on PAT tries, breaking the previous record of nine set by Brendan Boche in 2015 against Carleton.

14 Gusties Named AHCA All-American Scholars

Gustavus women's hockey players recognized include Stephanie Anderson, Clara Billings, Sophia Coltvet, Emilia Helms-Leslie, Katie McCoy, Molly McHugh, Serena Monson, Heather Olinger, Emily Olson, Brooke Power, Kristina Press, Grace Schulte, Alexa Steffl, and Kayla Vrieze. 

Men’s Soccer Tops Pacific Lutheran 3-1

The Gustavus men's soccer team faced off against Pacific Lutheran University on Monday winning 3-1. With the win, the Gusties move to a 1-2 record.

Women’s Soccer Blanked 1-0 Against Dubuque

The Gustavus women's soccer team was shutout 1-0 against Dubuque on Monday afternoon in its home opener. The Gusties drop to 1-2 overall, while the Spartans improve to 2-1. 

Women’s Soccer Hosts Dubuque Monday in Home Opener

The Gustavus women’s soccer team is set to play its first game on the Gustie Soccer Field since Nov. 2, 2019 with a non-conference matchup against the University of Dubuque at noon Monday. Both teams enter the Labor Day contest 1-1 overall.

Women’s Golf Finishes Fourth at Saint Benedict

The Gustavus women's golf team placed fourth out of 14 teams in final rounds on Sunday. The Gusties finished with an overall score of 326-321-647.

Men’s Golf Finishes in Second at Augsburg, Wasko Places First with Hole in One

The Gustavus men's golf team finished in second place out of 18 teams in the Augsburg Fall Invite with round totals of 303-291-594. Saint John's won the tournament with a total of 591. Wyatt Wasko (Jr., Lake Elmo) medaled in the weekend event after carding a hole in one on the eighth hole.

The Gustavus men's golf team finished with a score of 303 after day one of the Augsburg Fall Invitational to sit in second place, one stroke behind Saint John's.

Football Sets Program Scoring Record, Beats Buena Vista 80-58

After not playing a snap since Nov. 16, 2019, the Gustavus football team treated its fans with an offensive shootout Saturday night, defeating Buena Vista University 80-58 in the season opener, setting a program record for points in a game. The Gusties rushed for 300 yards - the most in nine years - and 635 total yards of offense.
