SAINT PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus men’s tennis team defeated Saint Mary’s 9-0 on Saturday at the Brown Outdoor Courts in its final home regular season match. The Gusties improve to 11-2 overall and 6-0 in the MIAC.

The guys came out with good energy in the doubles today and we were able to set the tone early,” Head Coach Tommy Valentini said. “We executed well on all three courts to get the sweep and some good momentum in the singles. From there, I was impressed with the focus our singles players showed at every spot. It was fun to watch the team compete today, and again to be able to welcome some supporters to the Brown Outdoor Courts. We’re thankful for our administrators, staff, and trainers for all the work they do to give us a chance to compete and to have some fans here to support us.”
