Men Maintain First at MIAC Swim & Dive Championships, Women One Point Off Lead

After day two of the MIAC Championships, the Gustavus men’s swim & dive team maintains its lead with 337 points, while the women are just one point behind St. Kate’s, 244-243.

Gymnastics Heads to UW-Stout Thursday

The Gustavus gymnastics team will head to Menomonie, Wis. Thursday to take on No. 5 UW-Stout in a WIAC dual. The meet will start at 6 p.m. in the Johnson Fieldhouse. The Gusties are off to a 3-4 start, most recently placing third at the Harley Meet hosted by UW-Whitewater and posting a score of 179.150. The Blue Devils most recently competed versus UW-La Crosse and scored a 187.000.

Men’s Swim & Dive in First at MIAC Championships, Women Second After Day One

After the first day of the MIAC Swim & Dive Championships, the Gustavus men lead the field with 118 points and the women are tied for second with 64 points.

Women’s Basketball Holds on For 67-65 Win Over St. Catherine

The Gustavus women's basketball team traveled to St. Catherine Wednesday night and held off a late St. Kate's comeback for a 67-65 victory. With the win the Gusties move to 17-5 overall and 13-4 in the MIAC, while the Wildcats fall to 11-11 overall and 8-9 in the league.

Track and Field to Host Learn by Doing Camp Feb. 23

The Gustavus men's and women's track and field team will host a Learn by Doing Camp on Sunday Feb 23, 2020. Athletes will receive direct training from the Gustavus coaching staff as well as a number of Gustavus student-athletes.

Women’s Basketball Heads to St. Catherine Wednesday

The Gustavus women's basketball team will travel to St. Paul, Minn. Wednesday to take on St. Catherine in a 7 p.m. contest. The Gusties enter 16-5 overall and 12-4 in the MIAC, while the Wildcats are 11-10 overall and 8-8 in the league.

Swim & Dive Prepared for MIAC Championships

The Gustavus men’s and women’s swim & dive teams are set to compete at the MIAC Championships this week. The four-day event begins 6 p.m. Wednesday with three-meter diving prelims and runs through Saturday night’s final session. The Gustie men are the defending conference champions, while the Gustie women are looking to jump up one spot from their second-place finish last year.

Women’s Soccer Announces 2020 Summer Camps

Gustavus women's soccer has announced the dates for its 2020 summer camps. Head Coach Laura Burnett-Kurie and the Gusties will host a co-ed youth soccer camp, ages 8-17, June 21-24, and a high school girls soccer camp, grades 9-12, July 6-9. 

Taylor Rooney Set to Compete in USATF Indoor Championships Friday

Gustavus track and field junior Taylor Rooney (Jr., Andover, Minn.) is set to compete in the 60m hurdles at the United States of America Track & Field (USATF) Championships at Albuquerque, N.M. on Friday. Rooney is the first Gustavus athlete to compete at the USATF Indoor Championships. He is also the first Gustie to compete at a U.S. Championship event since Lisa Brown competed in the javelin at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials.

Track and Field Continues to Show Improvement

The Gustavus men's and women's track and field teams finished competition at the Ted Nelson Classic Saturday night. Of the teams involved there were seven Division II schools, nine Division III schools and a five junior colleges.
