Swim & Dive Defeats Carleton in MIAC Dual

The Gustavus men’s and women’s swim & dive teams returned to Vic Gustafson Pool on Friday night, both claiming dual victories over Carleton. The Gustie men won 204-87 and the women won 191-108.

Women’s Hockey Falls to UW-Superior 2-1

The No. 4 Gustavus women’s hockey team lost 2-1 in a non-conference game against UW-Superior Friday night. The Gusties drop to 9-2-1 overall, while the Yellowjackets improve to 8-1-1.

After a month-long break, the Gustavus men’s hockey team Friday night defeated St. Olaf 6-0 to improve to 6-6 overall and 3-2 in the MIAC, while the Oles dropped to 2-12 overall and 1-6 in the league.

The Gustavus men's hockey team is back in action Friday after nearly a month off when they travel to St. Olaf for a 7 p.m. contest, with the teams playing again Saturday at Don Roberts Ice Rink at 7:05 p.m. The Gusties enter 5-6 overall and 2-2 in the MIAC, while the Oles are 2-11 overall and 1-5 in the conference.

Gymnastics Victorious in Season Opening Dual

The Gustavus gymnastics team opened its season with a WIAC dual win Thursday in Saint Peter by a score of 178.625-178.000. The Gusties placed first in both the vault and bars.

The No. 17 Gustavus women's basketball team hosted Saint Mary's Wednesday night and defeated the Cardinals 82-65. With the win the Gusties improve to 11-1 overall and 7-0 in the MIAC while the Cardinals 1-10 overall and 1-5 in the conference.

Feahn’s 26 Leads Men’s Hoops to Victory at Saint Mary’s

Kaleb Feahn (Jr., Waseca) scored a career high 26 points to lead the Gustavus men’s basketball team to a 76-65 win at Saint Mary’s on Wednesday night. The Gusties are now 5-8 overall and 5-3 in the MIAC, while the Cardinals drop to 6-6 overall and 3-4 in the league.

Gonsorowski, Guse Selected December Student-Athletes of the Month

Women's and men's basketball student-athletes Ava Gonsorowski (Jr., Esko) and Jake Guse (So., Waseca) have been named Gustavus Female and Male Student-Athletes of the Month for December, which is voted on by the Gustavus Sports Information Department and presented by Thrivent Financial.
