Track and Field 2020 Indoor Season Preview

The Gustavus track and field teams will be back in action for their second meet of the season Friday as they travel to Northfield for the St. Olaf Quad. The meet is set to begin at the Tostrud Center at 4 p.m.

Gymnastics Travels to Hamline Friday For First Road Dual

The Gustavus gymnastics team travels to Hamline Friday for their first road meet of the season. The dual will start at 6:30 p.m. in the Lloyd W.D. Walker Fieldhouse. Gustavus is off to a 2-0 start, their best since the 2002-03 season. The Gusties most recently posted a 177.975 in their victory over UW-Eau Claire. Hamline currently sits at 0-2 on the year, but posted a 182.550 in their last meet.

Gonsorowski’s Career High Leads Women’s Basketball Over Hamline

Junior point guard Ava Gonsorowski (Jr., Esko) finished with a career high 29 points, leading the Gustavus women's basketball to a 76-65 win over Hamline Wednesday. With the win the Gusties are now 13-3 overall and 9-2 in the MIAC, while the Pipers fall to 11-4 overall and 6-4 in the league.

Men’s Basketball Completes Sweep of Hamline

The Gustavus men’s basketball team claimed an 83-69 win against Hamline on Wednesday night to complete the series sweep. The Gusties, who have won five of their last six, improve to 8-9 overall and 8-4 in the MIAC, while the Pipers drop to 3-13 overall and 1-10 in the league.

Men’s Hoops Travels to Hamline Wednesday Night

The Gustavus men’s basketball team starts a three-game road trip Wednesday night at Hamline. Tipoff in Saint Paul is scheduled for 7 p.m. The Gusties enter the contest 7-9 overall and 7-4 in the MIAC, while the Pipers are 3-12 overall and 1-9 in the league.

Corbett Named WIAC All-Around Gymnast of the Week

Gustavus gymnast Annie Corbett (Fy., Brookfield, Wis.) has been named WIAC Gymnastics All-Around Athlete of the Week for her performance in the dual with UW-Eau Claire Friday.

No. 23 Women’s Basketball Hosts Hamline Wednesday

The No. 23 Gustavus women’s basketball team will look to win their second straight game Wednesday when they host Hamline for a 7 p.m. tip-off. The Gusties enter the contest at 12-3 overall and 8-2 in the MIAC while the Pipers are 11-3 overall and 6-3 in conference.

47 Gusties Earn MIAC Fall Sport Academic All-Conference

The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) announced its fall sport Academic All-Conference honorees on Tuesday and 47 Gustavus student-athletes received recognition.

Katie Keelin and Rachel Studer swept this week's MIAC women's track and field Athlete of the Week awards with Keelin earning field honors while Studer earned the award on the track.

Rooney Earns National Athlete of the Week Honors

Taylor Rooney kicked off 2020 winning the 60m hurdles in the MSU-Invite and earning USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week Honors with a time of 8.10.
