Cross Country Heads to Wartburg Saturday for Dan Huston Invitational
After two weeks away from competition, the Gustavus men’s and women’s cross country teams are set to compete at Wartburg’s Dan Huston Invitational on Saturday. The men’s race begins at 11 a.m. with the women to follow at 11:45.
MIAC Men’s Golf Championships Postponed to Sunday
Saturday's play is postponed due to rain. There will be 18 holes played Sunday, starting at 10 a.m., and 36 holes Monday, starting at 8 a.m.
Volleyball Travels to Hamline Saturday

Women’s Soccer Hosts St. Olaf Saturday in Ovarian Cancer Awareness Game
The Gustavus women’s soccer team is hosting St. Olaf at 3:30 p.m. Saturday. The contest is designated as a “Team Trina” Ovarian Cancer Awareness game. Trina Rinke was a midfielder for the Gusties until last season and was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in the summer of 2017.
Women’s Soccer set to host 5th Annual Run for Kicks 5k on Oct. 13
The Gustavus women’s soccer team is set to host its fifth annual Run for Kicks 5k fundraiser on Sunday, Oct. 13. The race begins at 10 a.m. on the paved and limestone trails of the Linneaus Arboretum on west side of the Gustavus campus.
Ericson, O’Neil, Fouchier Named September Athletes of the Month
Women's golfer Erin Ericson (So., Onalaska, Wis.) and men's tennis players Michael O'Neil (Sr., Edina) and Daneil Fouchier (Fy., Nootdorp, Netherlands) have been named Gustavus Female and Co-Male Student-Athletes of the Month, which is voted on by the Gustavus Sports Information Department and presented by Thrivent Financial.
Women’s Soccer Edged 2-1 in Overtime Loss at Augsburg
The Gustavus women’s soccer team Wednesday night suffered a hard-fought 2-1 overtime loss at Augsburg. The loss drops the Gusties to 2-7 overall and 1-2 in the MIAC, while the Auggies improve to 7-2 overall and 3-0 in the league.
Volleyball Battles for Five-Set Win Over St. Kate’s
In a match that featured 30 tied scores and 13 lead changes, the Gustavus volleyball team scrapped together a five-set victory over St. Catherine on Wednesday night, 22-25, 25-15, 25-22, 25-27, 15-13. The Gusties improve to 9-8 overall and 2-1 in the MIAC, while the Wildcats drop to 10-8 overall and 0-3 in the league.

The Gustavus women’s soccer team travels to Augsburg Wednesday night for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff. The Gusties enter the contest 2-6 overall and 1-2 in the MIAC, while the Auggies are 6-2 overall and 2-0 in the league.
