Men’s Soccer vs. Wartburg Postponed to Oct. 20

The Gustavus men's soccer home match against Wartburg originally scheduled for 5 p.m. Friday is postponed to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 20. The Gustavus soccer fields are unsuitable for play after the recent rainfall, causing the postponement. 

Football Heads to UW-Stout for First Road Test of Season

The Gustavus football team will travel to Menomonie, Wis. to take on UW-Stout at 1:05 p.m. Saturday for its first road contest of the season. The Gusties are 1-0 thanks to a 50-19 win over Martin Luther, while the Blue Devils are 0-1 due to a 14-7 loss against Saint John's.

Update: Women’s Soccer vs. UM-Morris Postponed

The Gustavus women’s soccer home game vs. Minnesota-Morris scheduled for 4 p.m. Thursday is postponed to Sunday, Oct. 20 with a 1 or 2 p.m. start time. The game is postponed due to flooding at Gustavus's soccer fields.

Men’s Golf Grabs Second Place at Pioneer Creek Collegiate

The Gustavus men’s golf team posted the best second-round score Sunday at the Pioneer Creek Collegiate, jumping up a spot to finish in second place with a 297-290-293-880. St. Thomas won the event with a 287-292-284-863.

Women’s Golf Takes 11th at Wartburg Fall Invite

The Gustavus women’s golf team Sunday placed 11th of 17 teams at the Wartburg Fall Invite, finishing at 315-318-633 (+57). St. Catherine won the event with a 297-305-602.

Offensive Outburst from Men’s Soccer Continues in 6-1 Win Over Simpson

The Gustavus men's soccer team found its groove early on Sunday en rout to a 6-1 win over Simpson. With the win the Gusties improve to 4-0 on the year while Simpson falls to 3-1. 

Men’s Golf in Third After Day One at Pioneer Creek

The Gustavus men’s golf team is in third place after the first round of the Pioneer Creek Collegiate. The Gusties shot a nine-over 297 and are 10 strokes behind the leader St. Thomas. Saint John’s is in second at 293.

Men’s Soccer Shuts Out Crown 7-0

In its home opener the Gustavus men's soccer team shut out Crown College by a score of 7-0. With the win the Gusties move to 7-0 on the season. 

Women’s Golf in 10th After Round One at Wartburg Invite

The Gustavus women’s golf team sits in 10th place out of 17 teams after Saturday’s round of the Wartburg Fall Invitational. The Gusties carded a plus-27 315 and are 18 strokes behind the leader St. Catherine. Carleton is in second at 304, while St. Thomas and Illinois Wesleyan are tied for third at 305.

Volleyball Falls Twice in Final Day at Loras Invite

The Gustavus volleyball team played two contests at the Loras Invite on Saturday and fell to WashU 3-0 before dropping the second match to St. Norbert 3-1. With the results the Gusties move to 4-4 on the season.
