Gustavus Athletic Training Takes Part in “Safety in Football Campaign”
The Gustavus athletic training department is participating in the Great Lakes Athletic Trainers Association (GLATA) “Safety in Football Campaign,” which aims to lessen the risks of injury by employing an athletic trainer and keep the focus on the fun and camaraderie of football.
Ericson Earns Medalist at DIII Classic, Women’s Golf Takes Fourth
The Gustavus women’s golf team finished in fourth place at the Division III Classic, played at Emerald Greens on Saturday and Sunday, posting a two-round 317-310-627. The second round 310 is the tied for the 10th best 18-hole total in program history.
Men’s Soccer Suffers First Loss of Season to Central
The Gustavus men's soccer team suffered its first loss of the season Saturday to Central 4-3. With the loss the Gusties fall to 4-1, while the Dutch move to 7-0.
Women’s Tennis hosts Gustavus Fall Invite
The Gustavus women's tennis team hosted its first singles and doubles invitational tournament of the fall season Saturday. The Gustavus Fall Invite begins the second and final day of competition at 9 a.m. Sunday.
Women’s Golf in Third After First Round at Division III Classic
The Gustavus women’s golf team Saturday started the Division III Classic with a first round 317 (+29) and sit in a tie for third place. St. Catherine leads the field at 311 and Bethel is in second, one stroke ahead of the Gusties at 316.
Becker Becomes Women’s Soccer Career Saves Leader in Loss at Wartburg
The Gustavus women’s soccer team Saturday lost 4-0 at Wartburg, dropping to 0-4 on the season. The Knights broke a scoreless draw in the 33rd minute and added three more unassisted goals for their sixth straight win to start the season.
Volleyball Loses Two on Second Day at UW-Eau Claire
The Gustavus volleyball team dropped two contests on the second day of the Sandy Schumacher Memorial Tournament at UW- Eau Claire. With the results the Gusties fall to 6-6 on the season.
Football Uses All-Around Performance to Take Down UW-Stout 41-31
The Gustavus football team looked strong in all facets on Saturday as they took down UW-Stout 41-31 at Don & Nona Williams Stadium in Menomonie, Wis. With the win the Gusties move to 2-0 on the season while the Blue Devils fall to 0-2.
Volleyball Sweeps Opening Day at UW-Eau Claire
The Gustavus volleyball team came out strong on the first day of the Sandy Schumacher Memorial Tournament winning both matches in three sets to improve to 6-4 on the season.
Volleyball Travels to UW-Eau Claire for Weekend Slate
The Gustavus volleyball team heads to UW-Eau Claire this weekend for the Sandy Schumacher Memorial Tournament. The Gusties play Linfield College and Lakeland University at 3 and 7 p.m. Friday before playing Carthage College and UW-Eau Claire at 1 and 3 p.m. Saturday.
