BECKER, Minn. – After one round at the MIAC Championships, the Gustavus women’s golf team sits in sixth place with a score of 332. St. Catherine leads the field at 312.
“We need to do a better job of eliminating the big holes tomorrow,” Head Coach Scott Moe said. “We were nervous coming out of the gates today, but will be in a better place tomorrow. Looking forward to an opportunity to move up the leaderboard.”
Emily Kratz (So., Edina) led the Gusties on day one, carding a 79 and is tied for ninth. Sydney Regalado (So., Rosemount) is tied for 13th at 80, Erin Ericson (So., Onalaska, Wis.) shot an 82 and is tied for 18, and Hannah Hubbart (Fy., Hastings) rounded out the scoring with a 91.
Round two started at 9 a.m. Sunday.
