Brandt and Kratz Named MIAC Women’s Golf All-Conference

The MIAC released their 2018-19 women’s golf All-Conference team and Gustavus’s Ellie Brandt (Sr., Wayzata, Minn.) and Emily Kratz (Fy., Edina, Minn.) each garnered their first All-Conference honor.

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – The MIAC released their 2018-19 women’s golf All-Conference team and Gustavus’s Ellie Brandt (Sr., Wayzata, Minn.) and Emily Kratz (Fy., Edina, Minn.) each garnered their first All-Conference honor.

Brandt was second on the team in scoring average this season posting an average of 81.9. The senior made her mark this year during the MIAC Championships, finishing with a three round score of 240 (+24), to tie for eighth overall in the event. Brandt was also named to the MIAC All-Sportsmanship team.

Kratz posted the team’s lowest scoring average this year with an average of 81.3. The Edina native posted two top ten finishes this season as well as a top five finish for the Black and Gold. Kratz finished sixth overall in the Division III Classic in the fall before tying for third with a 75 at the Kathy Niepagen Spring Fling.
