BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Chase Johnson (Sr., Golden Valley, Minn.) went a perfect 6-0 in singles and doubles combined to help the Gustavus men’s tennis team claim its 31st consecutive MIAC men’s tennis championship. Johnson did not lose a set and dropped only six of 42 games in singles play. He and doubles partner Patrick Whaling won three matches at the No. 1 spot. For his performance, Johnson was named MIAC Athlete of the Week.
