Neuenfeldt, Kammerer Named MIAC Softball Athletes of the Week

Gustavus softball student-athletes Ashley Neuenfeldt (So., Bloomington, Minn.) and Caitlin Kammerer (Jr., Watertown, Minn.) swept the MIAC’s weekly awards Monday. Neuenfeldt was named Pitcher of the Week and Kammerer earned Player of the Week.

Softball Splits on Day Three in Tucson

The Gustavus softball team was back in action Sunday after a day off and dropped their first contest with Central 3-1 before defeating UW-Platteville 7-6. With today's results Gustavus' record moves to 7-5.

Women’s Tennis Drops Two Matches in Virginia

The Gustavus women's tennis team traveled to Fredericksburg, Va. for two matches this weekend. The Gusties fell to No. 38 Southwester (Tex.) 7-2 on Friday afternoon before falling to Bates College 6-3 on Saturday.

Men’s Tennis Goes 1-2 at Stag-Hen Invitational

The No. 15-ranked Gustavus men’s tennis team competed at the Stag-Hen Invitational on Friday and Saturday, which featured a field eight nationally ranked teams. The Gusties went 1-2 in the tournament, winning the seventh place match 8-1 over No. 31 Swarthmore on Saturday after losing to No. 12 Sewanee 5-4 and No. 26 Skidmore 6-3 on Friday.

Softball Remains Unbeaten in Tucson, Wins Two Games Friday

The Gustavus softball team continued play in Tucson, Ariz. on Friday and came away with two victories. They first defeated Saint Mary's (Ind.) 9-2 before rallying late to beat Mount Mary 2-1. The Gusties improve to 6-4 on the season with the wins.

Softball Starts Spring Trip with a Pair of Victories

The Gustavus softball team started play on their spring break trip where they defeated Cornell 10-6 before taking down Skidmore 9-1 in six innings. With the wins the Gusties move to 4-4 on the season.

Softball Prepares for Eight Contests in Tucson

The Gustavus softball team travels to Tucson Wednesday afternoon where they will play eight contests starting Thursday at 9 a.m. The Gusties enter the slate of games with a 2-4 record.

Home Opening Baseball Doubleheaders Postponed

This weekend's home opening baseball doubleheaders against UW-Stout have been postponed due to heavy amounts of snow on the field.

Two Gymnasts Selected to NCGA All Championship Team, Three Qualify for Nationals

Two members of the Gustavus gymnastics team were selected to the 2019 National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) All Championship Team following the conclusion of the two regional meets on Saturday afternoon. Both Sam Ardy (Sr., Thousand Oaks, Calif.) and Amanda Malo (Sr., Greenwood, Minn.) were selected for the bars, while Malo was also selected for the floor.
