Women’s Basketball Clinches Playoff Berth, Defeats St. Kate’s 69-56

The Gustavus women’s basketball team Saturday clinched a MIAC postseason tournament berth with a 69-56 win over St. Catherine. The playoff berth is the 19th consecutive by Gustavus – the most in MIAC women’s basketball history – as the Gusties improve to 13-10 overall and 10-6 in the MIAC.

Women’s Basketball Hosts St. Kate’s Saturday on Senior Day

The Gustavus women’s basketball team is set to take on St. Catherine at 1 p.m. Saturday at Gus Young Court. The Gusties enter the contest 12-10 overall and 9-6 in the MIAC, while the Wildcats are 10-12 overall and 7-8 in the league.

The Gustavus men's hockey team Friday lost a gut-wrenching 4-3 overtime decision at Concordia. The sudden death game-winning goal came on a two-on-one breakaway with just four seconds left on the clock.
