SHREVEPORT, La. – The Gustavus gymnastics team competed against Centenary on Sunday and lost the dual match 190.375-182.725.
The Gusties scored 46.950 on vault, 46.725 on floor, 45.825 on bars, and 43.225 on beam.
Amanda Malo (Sr., Greenwood, Minn.) had the best score of the day for the Gusties, posting a 9.650 on the floor for third place. She also scored 9.475 on vault for second place and totaled 37.025 in the all-around for third place. Sam Ardy (Sr., Thousand Oaks, Calif.) led the Gusties on the bars with a 9.600, tying for third, while Katy Trunk (Sr., North Branch, Minn.) paced the team on the beam with a 9.100.
Gustavus is next in action Saturday at UW-Eau Claire.
