Men’s Track & Field Takes Second at Macalester

The Gustavus men’s track & field team Friday claimed second place at Macalester’s Vanessa Seljeskog Classic, totaling 63 points. Bethel won the meet with 70 points and Macalester took third at 37. The Gusties took home six first place finishes along with eight second place finishes.

Women’s Track & Field Wins Vanessa Seljeskog Classic

The Gustavus women’s track & field team Friday claimed first place at Macalester’s Vanessa Seljeskog Classic, totaling 83 points. Bethel took second, Macalester placed third, and St. Catherine finished fourth. The Gusties took home eight first place finishes along with six second place finishes.

Men and Women’s Swim and Dive in Second After Day One of Point Invite

The Gustavus swim and dive teams traveled to Stevens Point Wis. on Friday for a two-day meet.

Men’s Hockey Loses 4-2 at No. 4 Augsburg

The Gustavus men’s hockey team suffered a 4-2 loss at No. 4-ranked Augsburg on Friday night. The Auggies jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period and the Gusties were unable to dig out of the hole, dropping to 5-12-1 overall and 2-6-1 in the MIAC.

Women’s Hockey Falls to Augsburg 3-0

The Gustavus women's hockey team took on Augsburg on Friday night and lost by a score of 3-0.

Men’s Basketball Hosts Cobbers in MIAC Play Saturday

Women’s Basketball Hosts Concordia Saturday for Alumni Day

The Gustavus women’s basketball team is back home Saturday as it plays host to Concordia for a 1 p.m. conference tilt at Gus Young Court. The Gusties enter the game 8-8 overall and 5-4 in the MIAC, while the Cobbers are 7-9 overall and 4-5 in the league. The Gusties also welcome back a number of alums for their annual Alumni Day.

Lininger Johnson, McGee to Enter NCGA Hall of Fame

The National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) announced its 2019 Hall of Fame Class, which includes former Gustavus gymnasts Shasta Lininger Johnson '95 and Shannon McGee '96.
