BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – For the second time in the 2018-19 season, Amanda DiNella has been named MIAC Women’s Hockey Athlete of the Week. On Friday night, in her 35 save effort against No. 4 Hamline, DiNella broke the all-time saves record set by Danielle Justice in 2012. On Saturday afternoon, DiNella saved 30 more shots and helped the Gusties to a 2-1 overtime win over previously unbeaten Hamline. In the weekend series, DiNella played the entirety of two overtime games and held a save percentage of .942.
