The No. 10 Gustavus volleyball team won its eighth consecutive match Friday night at the UW-Whitewater Dig Panici Classic with a four-set victory over UW-Stevens Point. The Gusties won by set scores of 26-24, 23-25, 25-23, and 25-23 to improve to 16-2 overall.

Football Hosts Concordia for Homecoming, Hall of Fame Saturday

After enjoying its bye last week, the Gustavus football returns to Hollingsworth Field 1 p.m. Saturday to host Concordia for the annual Homecoming and Hall of Fame game. The Gusties enter the game 1-3 overall and 0-2 in the MIAC, while the Cobbers are 3-2 overall and 2-1 in the league.

The No. 10 Gustavus volleyball team Thursday night claimed its fifth consecutive straight-set victory, defeating St. Olaf 25-23, 25-20, 25-21 to improve to 15-2 overall and remain undefeated in the MIAC at 6-0. The Gusties played from behind in all three sets, but were able to string together rallies for the shutout victory.
