SAINT PETER, Minn. – The Gustie women’s golf team will participate in the MIAC Championships this weekend in Becker, Minn. The event will be a two day event with the winner advancing to the NCAA tournament in the Spring.
On the fall season, Gustavus has been in four tournaments and has finished in the top half of every meet with a second place finish in the Saint Ben’s Invite. The Gusties have three players averaging sub-80 rounds on the season with Emily Kratz (Fy., Edina, Minn.) leading the way. Kratz is averaging 77.8 strokes per round with her low score on the season being a 71. Morgan Bleyhl (Jr., Elk River, Minn.) and Erin Ericson (Fy., Onalaska, Wis.) are shortly behind her averaging 79.5 and 79.8 respectively. Bleyhl and Kratz are the two Gusties who have finished inside the top ten in a meet this season.
