ST. PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus College Athletics Department has entered into a five-year partnership with BSN SPORTS and Nike, which was announced Monday by Athletics Director Tom Brown. The agreement, which commenced June 1, will make Nike the game day outfitter for Golden Gustie athletic teams.
“We are excited to partner with BSN SPORTS and Nike to create a common look and unified brand within the Gustavus Athletics Department,” Brown said. “Our student-athletes will be outfitted with top-of-the-line athletic apparel and equipment, which will elevate their experience here as Gusties.”
BSN SPORTS is the largest distributor of team sports apparel and equipment in the United States, offering access to more brands than any single distributor in the industry. A division of Varsity Brands, BSN SPORTS markets and distributes its products to over 100,000 institutional and team sports customers in colleges and universities, middle and high schools, and recreational programs throughout the United States via catalog, e-commerce, and direct sales.
The agreement includes numerous incentives in the form of discounts and rewards along with incentives for on-field achievements and additional marketing and promotional opportunities.
