Women’s Swim & Dive In Second After Day One At MIAC Championships

The Gustavus women's swim & dive team Thursday placed many individuals on the podium at the MIAC Championships, tallying 200 points after day one to sit in second place. St. Thomas leads the field with 215 points, while third place St. Olaf has 131 points.

Men’s Swim & Dive Sits In Second After Day One At MIAC Championships

The Gustavus men’s swim & dive team got off to a great start Thursday in day one of the MIAC Championships, recording 232 points to sit in second place. St. Thomas holds the lead with 261 points, while St. Olaf is in third with 134 points.

Women’s Hockey Concludes Regular Season Against Saint Ben’s, Senior Day Saturday

The No. 6-ranked Gustavus women’s hockey team wraps up the regular season this weekend with a series against Saint Benedict. The Gusties enter the weekend 17-2-4 overall and 11-2-3 in the MIAC, while the Blazers are 2-19-1 overall and 1-14-1 in the league. Friday's game in St. Cloud starts at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday's Senior Day at Don Roberts Ice Rink begins at 2 p.m. 

Track & Field Set For Maverick Invite

The Gustavus men’s and women’s track & field teams are set to compete in the Maverick Invite at Minnesota State University, Mankato Friday afternoon. Field events are schedule to begin at 3 p.m. followed by running events at 4 p.m.

Women’s Basketball Can’t Dig Out Of Early Hole, Loses 66-62 At Saint Ben’s

A rough first quarter put the Gustavus women’s basketball team in a 13-point hole, one it was not able to climb out of in a 66-62 loss Wednesday at Saint Benedict. The Gusties outscored the Blazers in the final three quarters but it wasn’t enough to complete the comeback as they fell to 19-5 overall and 13-4 in the MIAC, while the Blazers improve to 22-2 overall and 16-1 in the league.

Men’s Hoops Puts Up Tough Battle Against No. 3-Ranked Johnnies On Senior Night

The Gustavus men's basketball team closed out its season with a valiant effort against No. 3-ranked Saint John's University Wednesday evening at Gus Young Court while honoring its five seniors during a 78-73 loss. 

Swim & Dive Set To Compete At MIAC Championships This Week

The Gustavus men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams are set to compete at the MIAC Championships over a three-day span this week at the University of Minnesota’s Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center in Minneapolis. Two sessions will be held each day Thursday through Saturday starting at 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Last season, both the Gustie men and women took second place at the conference meet.

The Gustavus men’s hockey team is set for its final regular season series this weekend, taking on No. 14-ranked Saint John's University. Slotted at the No. 4 spot in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Standings, the Gusties (9-11-3, 8-6 MIAC) face a tough challenge against the current top-seeded Johnnies (15-6-2, 10-4 MIAC) in search of a victory to clinch a playoff berth.

Women’s Hoops Travels To Saint Ben’s Wednesday In Key MIAC Seeding Matchup

The Gustavus women’s basketball team is back on the road Wednesday at it travels to Saint Benedict for a 7 p.m. tipoff. In a game with enormous MIAC playoff seeding implications, the Gusties enter the matchup two games behind the Blazers in the league standings. The Gusties are 19-4 overall and 13-3 in the MIAC, while the Blazers are 21-2 overall and 15-1 in the league.

Men’s Hoops Hosts No. 3 Saint John’s On Senior Night

The Gustavus men’s basketball team is set to close out its regular season Wednesday evening, hosting No. 3 ranked Saint John’s University during Senior Night. The Gusties (12-12, 10-9 MIAC) and the Johnnies (21-2, 17-1 MIAC) are set to tipoff at 7 p.m. from Gus Young Court.
