Women’s Tennis Falls In Two Sunday Matches Posted on February 25th, 2018 by

GREENCASTLE, INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – The No. 29-ranked Gustavus women’s tennis team dropped two 4-1 decisions against Division II Northwestern Ohio University and Division I Butler University on Sunday as its record fall to 1-5 on the young season.

“The team played better and better each match,” said Head Coach Jon Carlson. “Unfortunately our competition got better as the weekend went on. To take on the doubles point from Division I Butler was big. I knot it may sound weird; but even though we had three losses, it was a very valuable trip. The girls knew they were a much better team in the end.”
