SAINT LEO, Fla. – The No. 29-ranked Gustavus women’s tennis team opened the 2018 season with a 9-0 loss at the No. 24-ranked Division II Saint Leo University Thursday afternoon from Saint Leo Tennis Complex.
“It was great to get in some quality match play against such a strong team,” said Head Coach Jon Carlson. “While we never want to lose, it serves as a good marker of the level we hope to attain. We are looking forward to working on areas that need improvement as we head further into the season.”
