ST. PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus men’s swim & dive team had a great showing on day two of the Gustavus Invitational on Saturday. In the final tune-up before the MIAC Championships in two weeks, the Gusties claimed 11 more first place finishes after winning four in session one Friday. Other teams that competed were Carleton, Saint Mary’s, and St. Olaf.
“It was a great weekend of swimming with lots of inspiring swims,” Head Coach Jon Carlson said. “There were a lot of lifetime bests. We couldn’t have had a better last meet going into the conference. The team is very fired up and we’ll continue to taper to see what we can do in two weeks.”
