ST. PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus women’s soccer team returns to MIAC action Saturday as it hosts Bethel University at 3:30 p.m. The Gusties enter the match 7-3-1 overall and 3-2 in the MIAC, while the Royals are 4-5-1 overall and 1-4 in the league.
Scouting the Gusties: Gustavus has won two of its last three games, most recently shutting out UW-Eau Claire 2-0 on Wednesday. Judith Hepburn and Sophie Leininger scored the Gustie goals, while Ashley Becker made two saves in her 23rd career shutout. After 11 games this season, Chase Miller leads the team with nine points on three goals and three assists.
