Ninth Annual Women’s Hockey Golf Outing Set For June 19

The Gustavus women's hockey program is set to host its ninth annual golf outing on Monday, June 19 at Le Sueur Country Club. The cost is $125 per person and proceeds will be used for non-conference team travel.

Gusties Win Second Annual MIAC Special Olympics Unified Basketball Tournament

The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) partnered with Special Olympics Minnesota to put on the 2017 MIAC Special Olympics Unified Basketball Tournament to end NCAA Division III week on a high note. This was the second-annual Unified Basketball Tournament at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn.

Three Football Student-Athletes Named To NFF Hampshire Honor Society

The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) announced last week the members of the 2017 NFF Hampshire Honor Society, which is comprised of college football players from all divisions of play who each maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college careers. Gustie seniors earning a place on this year’s team include Levi Folkert (Elgin, Minn.), Tyler Jakes (North Mankato, Minn.), and Jake Schmitz (North Branch, Minn.).

Men’s Tennis Falls To No. 5 University of Chicago

The No. 31-ranked Gustavus men’s tennis team concluded non-conference play on Sunday, falling to the No. 5-ranked University of Chicago by a score of 6-3, moving its overall record to 20-8 on the season.

Meierhenry, Women’s Golf Claim Runner-Up Finish At WashU Invite

The Gustavus women's golf team turned in a team score of 312 (+32) on Sunday, duplicating the round one score to earn a second place finish at the Washington University in St. Louis Spring Invitational.

Women’s Tennis Back On Track, Defeats Augustana 7-2 At Midwest Invite

The Gustavus women’s tennis team snapped a six-matching losing streak Saturday at the Midwest Invite, defeating Augustana 7-2. The two losses came at Nos. 1 and 2 singles, while the Gusties swept the rest of the match. The No. 36-ranked Gusties improve to 12-6 overall, while Augustana drops to 20-5.

Track & Field Competes At CSB-SJU Invite

The Gustavus men's and women's track & field teams competed at the CSB-SJU Outdoor Invite Saturday at Saint John's University and posted a number of impressive performances. The men were highlighted by first place finishes in the 800-meter, 5000-meter, shot put, and 4x400-meter relay, while the women received top-four finishes in the 1500-meter, 5000-meter, and pole vault.

The No. 31-ranked Gustavus men's tennis team defeated DePauw University by a score of 8-1 Saturday, improving its overall record to 20-7.

Mae Meierhenry (Sr., Sioux Falls, S.D.) shot a 72 in the first round of of the Washington University in St. Louis Spring Invitational Saturday, leading the Gustavus women's golf team to finish in second after day one.

Baseball Erupts For 16 Runs In Game One, But Splits With Hamline

The Gustavus baseball team Saturday erupted for 16 runs in a decisive 12-run game one decision, but settled for a split after dropping the second game 8-3 to Hamline. The Gusties move to 14-8 overall and 4-2 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, while Hamline moves to 10-14 overall and 3-3 in the league.
