ST. PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus women’s tennis got back to its winning ways Sunday at home, shutting out St. Catherine and Saint Benedict 9-0. The wins move the Gusties to 15-7 overall and 7-1 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, while the Wildcats drop to 11-5 (6-3 MIAC) and the Blazers move to 9-13 (2-7 MIAC).
“The girls bounced back after a tough loss yesterday at Carleton and played very well,” Head Coach Jon Carlson said. “It was good to use these matches to work on things so we can improve with the conference playoffs coming up soon.”
