Women’s Tennis Remains Perfect With Shutouts Over Saint Mary’s, Luther

The No. 35-ranked Gustavus women’s tennis team kept its perfect record intact Saturday at the Swanson Tennis Center with a pair of 9-0 shutouts over Saint Mary’s University and Luther College. The Gusties improve to 9-0 overall and are 4-0 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Gustie Softball Splits Day Three Of Spring Trip

The Gustavus softball team won and lost Saturday in a non-conference doubleheader at the Osceola Softball Complex, defeating Ramapo College 4-0 and falling to Rowan University 6-2. The Gusties, now 10-2 overall, saw their eight-game win streak come to an end in the doubleheader split during day three of their spring trip.

Men’s Tennis Continues Home Stretch Hosting Three On Saturday

The No. 23-ranked Gustavus men’s tennis team is set to host three matches Saturday at Swanson Tennis Center versus St. Olaf College, Saint Mary's University, and Luther College. The Gusties (11-2 overall, 3-0 MIAC) will take on Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference foes St. Olaf (0-4 overall, 0-2 MIAC) at 8:30 a.m. and Saint Mary's (6-3 overall, 0-2 MIAC) at 11 a.m. before hosting Luther (5-1 overall) at 6:30 p.m.

Softball Improves To 9-1 With Second Straight Sweep

The Gustavus softball team earned a non-conference doubleheader sweep Friday, defeating Simpson College 3-2 and Plattsburgh State 7-6, improving to 9-1 on the season.

Gymnastics Falls 188.900-184.725 In Final Home Meet Against UW-La Crosse

The Gustavus gymnastics team hosted the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Friday in its final home meet of the season, falling by a score of 188.900-184.725. The Gusties’ total score is the fourth best in program history as they now prepare for the regional qualifier next weekend.

Power Play Goals Lead Women’s Hockey In NCAA First Round Win

The Gustavus women’s hockey team scored twice on the power play en route to defeating the University of Wisconsin-River Falls by a score of 3-2 in a NCAA Tournament first round matchup Friday evening at Hunt Arena.

Gymnastics Hosts UW-La Crosse For Senior Night

The Gustavus gymnastics team hosts its final home meet of the season at 6:30 p.m. tonight, taking on the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference dual. The Gusties enter the meet with a 2-12 overall record and 2-3 mark in the WIAC, while the Eagles are the top team in the league at 6-0 and 7-2 overall.

The Gustavus softball team opened up play in the Central Florida Rebel Spring Games Thursday, coming away with two wins as they defeated Thomas More College 7-5 and Aurora University 7-0, improving its record to 7-1 overall.

Soccer For Life! Gustie Soccer Programs Donate Blood To Red Cross

The Gustavus men's and women's soccer teams participated in an American Red Cross blood drive last Wednesday. The programs had a great turnout by their student-athletes, which contributed to a successful blood drive held in Alumni Hall.

PREVIEW: Women’s Hockey Set For NCAA Tournament Matchup At UW-River Falls

The Gustavus women’s hockey team is set to make its 12th appearance in the national tournament, facing the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. The Gusties earned an at-large bid to the tournament after falling in the MIAC Playoff Semifinals as the No. 1 seeded MIAC regular season champions. The winner will move on to a semifinal matchup versus Adrian College or Elmira College March 17.
