The Gustavus baseball team exploded for six runs in the ninth inning Saturday, leading to an 8-1 victory over Mount Marty College in non-conference action. The Gusties pick up their first win of the season, moving to 1-2 overall.

Women’s Tennis Tops Two Division II Opponents, Moving To 11-0

The Gustavus women’s tennis team faced a pair of Division II opponents Saturday at the Swanson Tennis Center and kept its undefeated record intact with a pair of victories. The Gusties defeated Minnesota State University-Mankato 7-2 and then beat Southwest Minnesota State 9-0 to improve to 11-0 overall.

Men’s Tennis Wraps Up Weekend With Split

The No. 19-ranked Gustavus men’s tennis team played two split squad matches Saturday, defeating Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference foe Saint John's University 9-0 at Swanson Tennis Center and falling 7-0 at the University of North Dakota.

Women’s Hockey Claims Third Place At NCAA Championship, Defeats Norwich 3-1

For the third time in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Women's Hockey era, the Gustavus women’s hockey team finished its season with a win, taking third place at the 2017 NCAA Championship. The Gusties defeated Norwich University 3-1 Saturday at Arrington Ice Arena on the campus of Adrian College, claiming third place for the first time since 2005, while finishing the season with a 19-7-3 overall record.

Gymnastics Takes Seventh At WIAC/NCGA West Regional

The Gustavus gymnastics team competed in its final meet of the season Friday at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference/National Collegiate Gymnastics Association West Regional, hosted by Winona State University. The Gusties took seventh of eight teams, scoring 185.625, which is also the third best team score in program history. Gustavus scored 47.625 on floor, 47.050 on vault, 46.475 on bars, and 44.475 on beam.

Men’s Tennis Wins Two Friday Matches

The No. 19-ranked Gustavus men’s tennis team earned two wins Friday in split squad matches, defeating No. 36-ranked Coe College 8-1 at Swanson Tennis Center and taking down Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference foe Concordia College 7-2 in Moorhead, Minn.

Special Teams Shine, But Women’s Hockey Falls 3-2 In Overtime To Adrian In NCAA Semifinal

A gritty and scrappy performance by the Gustavus women’s hockey team Friday resulted in game that needed more than 60 minutes to declare a victor. But in a game that saw 19 penalties, including a season-high 10 called on the Gusties, host Adrian was able to take advantage of its opportunities in the offensive zone, eventually scoring the game-winning goal 13:15 into the extra frame.

Mikayla Miller Named WBCA All-American Honorable Mention

Gustavus women’s basketball player Mikayla Miller (Jr., Goodhue, Minn.) received 2017 WBCA NCAA Division III Coaches’ All-America honorable mention honors, released today by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association, earning her second postseason national honor as she was awarded an All-West Region Second Team recipient by D3hoops.com earlier this week.

Gymnastics Set To Compete At WIAC/NCGA West Region Qualifier

The Gustavus gymnastics teams has been preparing all season long for this meet and its finally here. The Gusties are set to compete in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference/National Collegiate Gymnastics Association West Regional, which takes place March 17-19 at the host site Winona State University.
