Men’s Golf Moves To Second Place After Round Two At MIAC Championships

The Gustavus men’s golf team dropped into second place at the MIAC Championships Sunday, not because of a poor score but because Saint John’s posted a low round of 284. After two rounds the Johnnies sit in first place with 582, while the Gusties are in second with a 599 (302 in round two). Bethel is in third place with a 605.

Women’s Golf Remains In Fourth After Day Two At MIAC Championships

The Gustavus women’s golf team turned in a team score of 319 (+31) and are tied for fourth place after the second round of the 2016 MIAC Championships at Bunker Hills Golf Club.

Men’s Soccer Tops Augsburg 2-1 In Overtime

The Gustavus men’s soccer team won its third straight Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match Saturday night, defeating Augsburg 2-1 in overtime. The victory moves the Gusties to 4-7-1 overall and 3-2-1 in the MIAC, which is good for third place in the current league standings.

The Gustavus men’s golf team teed off at the MIAC Championships Saturday at Bunker Hills Golf Club and sits in first place after the first round. The Gusties carded a 297, which is one stroke ahead of Saint John’s and two strokes ahead of St. Thomas.

The Gustavus volleyball team got back to its winning ways Friday, shutting out Carleton 25-18, 25-23, 25-23 to improve to 14-4 overall and 5-1 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Volleyball Hosts Cancer Awareness Match Friday Against Carleton

The Gustavus volleyball team is back to the friendly confines of Gus Young Court on Friday as it hosts Carleton College. The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference contest begins at 7 p.m. and is designated as a Cancer Awareness match. Fans in attendance are encouraged to wear orange apparel in support of all cancer types. The Gustie volleyball team is dedicating the match in memory of the late Dan Rupar and his family, Deb, Daly, and Shaefer.
