Volleyball Set To Compete In Four Matches At UW-Eau Claire Tourney This Weekend

The Gustavus volleyball team is set to play in a tournament at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire today and tomorrow. The Gusties enter this weekend’s matches 15-4 overall and 6-1 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference after a 3-1 victory over Macalester College on Wednesday. Today the Gusties will play back-to-back matches against No. 21 UW-Oshkosh followed by No. 22 UW-Eau Claire. On Saturday, the Gusties will face UM-Morris and No. 24 Northwestern to wrap up the UW-Eau Claire Tournament.

Two-Game Weekend Ahead Of Women’s Soccer

The Gustavus women’s soccer team will split a home and away game this weekend. The Gusties play at Bethel University on Saturday before returning home Sunday to host a non-conference matchup against Wartburg College.

Alhouni Moves On To Second Round Of Singles Draw At ITA Oracle Cup

Mohanad Alhouni (Jr., Tripoli, Libya) defeated Nikolai Parodi of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Thursday morning in ITA Oracle Cup singles competiton at the Surpise Tennis and Racquet Club, advancing past the first round of eight competitors.

Cross Country Prepares For Drews/Neubauer Invitational

The Gustavus men’s and women’s cross country squads are set to travel to Ettrick, Wis. on Saturday to compete in the Drews/Neubauer Invitational, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Career Highs By Holtan, Luethmers Lead Volleyball To 3-1 Win At Macalester

The Gustavus volleyball team used a number of big individual performances Wednesday to claim a 3-1 victory, 23-25, 25-15, 25-19, 26-24, at Macalester College in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action. The Gusties improve to 15-4 overall and 6-1 in the MIAC, while the Scots fall to 8-12 overall and 1-6 in the league.

Saint John’s Penalty Kick Goal Drops Men’s Soccer 1-0

The Gustavus men’s soccer team’s three-game win streak in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference was snapped Wednesday at the Gustie Soccer Field as it lost 1-0 to Saint John’s University. The Gusties drop to 4-8-1 overall and 3-3-1 in the MIAC, while the Johnnies improve to 4-5-3 overall and 3-2-1 in the league.

Men’s And Women’s Soccer Earn NSCAA Academic Award

For their commendable academic work during the 2015-16 academic year, the Gustavus men's and women's soccer teams have earned the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Academic Award.

Volleyball Travels To Macalester Tonight

The Gustavus volleyball team hopes to stay in the win column tonight as it travels to Macalester College for a 7 p.m. Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match. The Gusties enter the game as the No. 2 team in the league with a 5-1 record and are 14-4 overall, while the Scots are 10th in the standings at 1-5 and are 8-11 overall.

Alhouni Heads To ITA Oracle Cup

Men’s Soccer Hosts Saint John’s In Key MIAC Match Today

The Gustavus men’s soccer team continues Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play today as it hosts Saint John’s University at 4 p.m. The Gusties are riding a three-game win streak and hold a 4-7-1 overall record and 3-2-1 mark in the league, while the Johnnies are 3-5-3 overall and 2-2-1 in the MIAC. Gustavus is currently third in the MIAC standings, while Saint John's is seventh.
