BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Gustavus star setter Nora Holtan (So., Rochester, Minn.) completed her spectacular regular season by winning her fourth MIAC Setter/Libero-of-the-Week award of the fall. She led her team to a 3-0 win over Hamline and a narrow 3-2 loss to Saint Mary’s with 84 assists (10.50 per set), 26 digs, nine kills and three blocks. She had 30 assists, 10 digs, six kills and two blocks against the Pipers, and 54 assists, 16 digs, three kills and a block in a thriller against the Cardinals. Holtan’s 9.87 assists-per-set leads the MIAC, and she’s the only MIAC setter with more than 1,000 assists (1,115). She was even better in conference play, with 11.52 assists per set and a .358 hitting percentage, both of which lead the league.
