Volleyball Suffers 3-1 Setback At UW-Stout

MENOMONIE, Wis. – The Gustavus volleyball team suffered a 3-1 setback at the University of Wisconsin-Stout on Tuesday, falling to 13-4 overall. The Gusties lost by set scores of 25-23, 25-18, 18-25, 25-16.

Lauren Hanson (So., Redwood Falls, Minn.) led the Gustie offense with 14 kills. Nora Holtan (So., Rochester, Minn.) posted 37 assists, while Brittany Luethmers (So., Prior Lake, Minn.) tallied 24 digs. Gustavus posted a .181 attack percentage, compared to a .220 clip by the Blue Devils. Both teams had five services aces.

Gustavus returns to Gus Young Court at 7 p.m. Friday to host Carleton College, who is 11-4 overall and 3-2 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
