ST. PETER, Minn. – Fresh off a team championship finish at the Blugold Invitational, Gustavus women’s golf travels to Clayton, Ind. September 17-18 to take part in the Dan Quayle Collegiate Golf Classic.
DePauw University hosts the two-round event at Deer Creek Golf Club.
Last weekend, Mae Meierhenry (Sr., Sioux Falls, S.D.) carded a day two score of 80 (+8) to claim the individual championship and lead the Gustavus women’s golf to a team title at the Georgianni Blugold Invitational at Wild Ridge Golf Club in Eau Claire, Wis.
Jessica Nelson (Jr., Plymouth, Minn.) also earned medalist honors with a third place finish. Nelson carded a 78 (+6) to finish 20-over-par (86-78–164).
