ST. PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus College women’s basketball team goes for its fifth straight win at 3 p.m. on Saturday when its hosts Carleton College for Senior Day on Gus Young Court. The Gusties enter the contest with an 18-6 overall record and 13-4 mark in the conference, while the Knights come to town at 4-20 overall and 1-16 in the MIAC.
As is tradition on the hill, the final home game of the regular season is designated as Senior Day and a special tribute is made to the individuals who have dedicated themselves to the Gustavus women’s basketball program. This year, the athletics department, head coach Laurie Kelly, parents, and fans salute the two student-athletes who have represented the women’s basketball team with pride and class. Seniors honored today for their commitment include Lindsey Johnson of Edina, Minn. and Anna Lundquist of Rochester, Minn.
