Women’s Hockey To Head East For Competitive Panther/Cardinal Classic This Weekend

The Gustavus Adolphus College women’s hockey team is set to travel to Middlebury, Vermont where it will participate in the Panther/Cardinal Classic at Middlebury College. On Saturday, the Gusties will take on defending national runner-up and current No. 2 Elmira College at 4 p.m., and Sunday, will face two-time defending national champion and current No. 1 Plattsburgh State University at 1 p.m.

Women’s Basketball Breaks Century Mark In 106-93 Road Win Over Buena Vista

For just the sixth time in program history, the Gustavus Adolphus College women's basketball team eclipsed the 100-point mark in a single game, as it defeated Buena Vista University 106-93 on Tuesday evening at Siebens Fieldhouse. The Gusties' 106 points is the first time the program has hit the century mark since February 9, 2002 and ties for fourth most all-time in a single game, with 113 being the record set on November 16, 1990 - a 113-34 victory over Mount St. Clare College.

13 Gusties Recognized In MIAC Football Awards, Haugen Named Co-Coach-Of-The-Year

The Gustavus Adolphus College football team has a strong showing in the 2015 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Postseason Awards released Tuesday afternoon. Head Coach Peter Haugen highlights the awards as he was named Co-Coach-of-the-Year, while five Gusties were named First Team All-Conference, three were named Second Team and four earned Honorable Mention.

After earning a tie and a win in this past weekend's series with Augsburg College, the Gustavus Adolphus College women's hockey team dropped one place to No. 9 in this week's USCHO.com poll that was released Monday. The Gusties had been ranked No. 8 in the first four polls of the season before their split with Augsburg.

Men’s Hockey Claims 4-3 Overtime Victory At Augsburg

The Gustavus men’s hockey team escaped with a thrilling 4-3 overtime victory at Augsburg College on Saturday night to claim its first Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory of the season. The Gusties split the series with Augsburg and improve to 2-4-2 overall and 1-3 in the MIAC.
