ST. PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus men’s basketball team has its first MIAC road test of the season at 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon in Minneapolis as it takes on Augsburg College. The Gusties enter the game with a 3-1 overall record and 1-0 mark in the MIAC after defeating Saint Mary’s 69-57 on Wednesday night in St. Peter, while the Auggies are 3-1 overall and 0-1 in the league after losing 69-65 to St. Olaf on Tuesday in Northfield, Minn. Brody Ziegler is Gustavus’s top point-scorer, averaging 12.5 points per game, while Collin Olmscheid is Augsburg’s best offensive player, averaging 16 points per game.
