White Out! Men’s Hockey Tangles With St. Thomas This Weekend

St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus men’s hockey team gets back to work with a home-and-home Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference series this weekend against the Tommies of the University of St. Thomas.  The weekend will begin with a 7:05 p.m. game at Don Roberts Ice Rink in St. Peter on Friday, Feb. 13. The series will then come to an end at the St. Thomas Ice Arena in Mendota Heights on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 7:00 p.m.

At 6-8-7 overall and 3-4-5 in the MIAC, it’s do-or-die time for the Gustavus men’s hockey team. After being off last weekend, the Gusties head into the final two weekends of the regular season sitting in a tie for seventh place in the conference standings alongside St. Olaf with 16 points. MIAC-leader St. Thomas sits atop the league at 14-4-3 overall and 8-2-2 in the MIAC.

WHITE OUT
The Gustavus men’s hockey team has issued a challenge to all Golden Gustie fans to wear white to Friday night’s game in an attempt to cause a ‘White-Out’ at Don Roberts Ice Rink.
