St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus men’s tennis team capped its season-opening trip to southeast Florida with a pair of losses to NAIA Northwood University and Division II Barry University on Friday, Feb. 6. The Gusties fell 6-3 to the Seahawks at Gaines Park in West Palm Beach to begin the day and then suffered a 9-0 sweep at the hands of the Buccaneers at the Buccaneer Tennis Center in Miami Shores.
The Gustavus men’s tennis team will return to Minnesota soil with a record of 1-2 after its trip to South Beach. The Gusties will be back on the courts Saturday, Feb. 14 when they open up their home schedule against UW-Eau Claire at 9:00 a.m. in the Swanson Tennis Center.
