Michaela Schulz and the Gustavus women's tennis team defeated the University of Puerto Rico 5-4 on Thursday.
Palmas Del Mar, Puerto Rico – The Gustavus Adolphus women’s tennis team defeated the University of Puerto Rico 5-4 in an exhibition match played Thursday in Palmas Del Mar. Gustavus earned a sweep in doubles action before taking 2-of-5 singles matches. The Gusties’ first official match will take place Saturday, February 14. Gustavus will send one squad to Des Moines, Iowa for a match with the University of North Dakota at 2 p.m. and will keep one squad in St. Peter to take on the University of Sioux Falls at the Swanson Tennis Center at 6 p.m.
