ST. PETER, MINN. – Following a tie and loss against the No. 1 and 5 teams in the nation, respectively, the Gustavus Adolphus women’s hockey team remained at No. 4 in the USCHO.com Division III Women’s Poll, and No. 5 in the D3hockey.com Division III Women’s Poll, each of which were updated Monday.

On Saturday, Gustavus found itself in a 4-1 hole to No. 1 Plattsburgh State University, but managed to fight back and earn a tie against the defending national champions. Sunday, the Gusties had an early 1-0 lead on No. 5 Middlebury, but could not hold on and were defeated 3-2 by the Panthers.

Each team in the USCHO poll remained in its spot from last week’s poll, while Amherst College and Adrian College swapped spots in the D3Hockey poll, with the former now ranked No. 6.
