Volleyball’s Taylor Trautman Featured On MIAC Student-Athlete Snapshot Posted on October 22nd, 2014 by

St. Paul – Gustavus Adolphus sophomore volleyball player Taylor Trautman (Hutchinson, Minn.) has been featured on the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference’s Student-Athlete Snapshot.  The MIAC Student-Athlete Snapshot is a weekly series dedicated to promoting MIAC student-athletes on and off the field.

Trautman, a graduate of Hutchinson High School, serves as a middle hitter on the Gustavus volleyball team.  She currently ranks fourth on the team with 119 kills and carries a 1.49 kills per set average and a .110 attack percentage.

The Gustavus volleyball team is gearing up for a busy weekend at Gus Young Court.  The Gusties will host Concordia College on Friday, Oct. 24 at 7:00 p.m. and Saint Benedict on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 3:00 p.m.  At 10-11 overall and 4-3 in the MIAC, the Gusties sit in a four-way tie for fourth place.  With four league matches remaining in the regular season, the Gusties are in a fight for one of six spots in the 2014 MIAC Playoffs.
