Norman, Okla. – Gustavus Adolphus senior golfer Tyler McMorrow (St. Cloud, Minn.) was named an honorable mention member of the 2014 Golf Coaches Association of American (GCAA) Division III PING All-America Team.

To go along with being awarded an honorable mention All-America recipient, McMorrow took home All-Conference and All-Region honors earlier this season. He finished his final year playing for the Black and Gold with a team-best stroke average of 75.5 (+4) after 23 rounds and 1,737 strokes. He posted a career-low score of a four-under 66 in a dual victory against Minnesota State University, Mankato on Sept. 4, and registered three top ten finishes in tournament play.

Over the course of his four-year tenure playing under Head Coach Scott Moe, McMorrow never missed a single competition, and as a result, earned the program’s Iron Man Award. He played in all 92 rounds of the 42 events he participated in and when it was all said and done, had registered 6,915 strokes for a stroke average of 75.2. The St. Cloud product made one All-Region appearance, earned All-Conference accolades twice, and was named an All-American in 2013 after finishing fifth overall at the NCAA Championships.
