Pleasant Valley, Wis. – The Gustavus Adolphus men’s tennis team picked up an important regional victory over DePauw University on Saturday afternoon at the Pleasant Valley Tennis & Fitness Club. The No. 15 Gusties took two doubles points and five singles points to come away with a 7-2 win over the Tigers, who entered the match ranked 23rd in the nation and sixth in the Central Region.
Gustavus snaps a two-match slide with the win and is now 22-5 overall. The Gusties have a pair of matches on the docket for Sunday, April 13. They will round out their non-conference schedule tomorrow morning with a 10:00 a.m. match against Kalamazoo College at the Pleasant Valley Tennis & Fitness Club, and will take on Saint Mary’s University in an MIAC contest at 12:00 p.m. in Winona.
