St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus men’s tennis team picked up three more wins on what was another busy Saturday.  In their two matches at the Swanson Tennis Center, the Gusties defeated Grinnell College 9-0 in the morning and Morningside College 8-1 in the afternoon.  Gustavus capped off the busy day with a 9-0 road victory over St. Olaf College in Owatonna.

Gustavus has now won six straight matches and is 7-1 overall and 2-0 in the MIAC.  Head Coach Tommy Valentini’s club will split up next weekend with matches scheduled to be played in St. Peter and Milwaukee.  On Saturday, March 1, Gustavus will face the University of Chicago at 3:00 p.m. in Milwaukee and Augustana College (S.D.) at 6:30 p.m. at the Swanson Tennis Center.  The Gusties will cap the weekend with a 10:00 a.m. match against UW-Whitewater on Sunday, March 2 in Milwaukee.
