St. Peter, Minn. – After finishing runner-up at the 2014 Australian Open in late-January, former Gustavus Adolphus tennis player Eric Butorac’s recent success continued this past weekend when he and doubles partner, Raven Klaasen (South Africa), defeated top seeds Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan at the U.S. National Indoor Tennis Championships held at the Racquet Club of Memphis.  Butorac `03 and Klaasen picked up the straight set win in 65 minutes by the score of 6-4, 6-4 over the No. 1-ranked American duo.

Eric Butorac is currently the 31st-ranked doubles player on the ATP World Tour.  He is 10-3 in 2014 alongside Klaasen following what was the pair’s first tournament victory of the season.
